  1. 1.  Robert Heustis, Jr. was born about 1664 (son of Robert Heustis, Sr. and Living); died in 1718 in Westchester, Westchester County, New York.

    Notes:

    Will of Robert Heustis, dated November 28, 1718, proved December 13, 1718. "I Robert Heustis of the Borrough and town of Westchester, yeoman, being very sick. I leave to my brother David Huestis all my home and lot, orchards, meadows and buildings situate in Westchester and bounded as followeth. Northward to the lane, eastward to the meadow, north wet to the King's road, as runs to Eastchester, and south to Stony Brook, and so to said Robert Heustis's meadow, and eastward to the creek until it comes to the aforementioned lands. Also another division of land containing three acres and bounded as followeth. Northerly by Peter Ferris's land, northwest by Doctor Bartow's land, and west to the road that goes to Broncks, and then runs to the aforementioned bank to a walnut tree marked with the first two letters of my name. I leave to my brothers, Samuel and Jonathan all my movable estates. And to my brother's Samuel, John and David, all my Indian corn and oats. I leave to my sister Mary Collier, 40 shillings. I leave to my brother David all my lands in the woods to dispose of to pay debts. I make my brothers David and John, and William Lawrence executors. I give my right at the Long Reach to my brother Samuel and my right in the Sheep Pasture to my brother David. Witnessed by William Lawrence, Yan Van Horne, Edward Fitzgerald."     Notes:

    Will of Robert Huestis, Sr., dated November 19, 1701, proved March 20, 1704/5. "In the name of God, Amen. I Robert Huestis, Sr., of the Burrough and Town of Westchester, being sick and weak. I leave to my wife Elizabeth all personal estate, whatsoever. I leave to my son Robert Huestis, Jr., all my land at Stony Brook, with the pasture lands thereto adjoining, with all my meadow at the rear of said lands, and he is to pay to his sisters, Elizabeth Molyneux and Abigail Hunt, 10 pounds each. I leave to my son Samuel Huestis, part of my meadow at the head of the neck, beginning at the head of the cove to the little creek. I leave to my son John Huestis all my meadow lying at the ditches between Edward Collier's and Daniel Turner's meadow, and also my forty acres of land at Long Beach, and he is to pay to my daughter, Sarah Betts, 5 pounds. I leave to my son Jonothan Huestis, the remainder of my meadow at the head of the neck, with all the upland thereto adjoining, and my six acres of land, not disposed of in the last division. I also give him 25 pounds right of Commonage, and he is to pay to my daughter, Sarah Betts, 5 pounds. I leave to my son David Huestis, 1 shilling and to my daughter, Mary Collier, 1 shilling. I leave to my son Robert a 25 pound right of Commonage. I make my wife Elizabeth and Josiah Hunt, Sr., executors. Witnessed by Henry Taylor, John Bayley, Richard Ward.
