Daisy the indoor cat
November 14, 2003

Actually Daisy is anything but an indoor cat. She's spent her whole life outside standing guard against the tide of vermin that would invade our home and yard. The wood rat situation was overwhelming when we first moved in so many years ago. Once we got their numbers down to a manageable state, we brought in the elite guard to avoid another population explosion. They also manage to keep control of the gopher and mole problem.

Daisy has always avoided even entering the house. But now that Tasha has gone missing, she's showing newfound interest in venturing into the inner sanctum of our home. She even shows progress in putting up with her family coming anywhere near her. It may be a jungle out there, but inside everyone is vegetating in front of the big screen TV. Welcome to our world kitty.
