The wedding reception

We had the reception in Ocean Colony in Half Moon Bay. It’s a beautiful golf course with the reception area on a bluff overlooking the Pacific ocean. We were also lucky to get a sunny day. Half Moon Bay is well known for its fog. The new couple ready for some fun. There’s a great collection of photos of everyone that came for the party. It’s funny how much more fun everyone seems to have as the night wears on. There might be a connection to the never ending stream of alcohol. ...

Charlotte's bridal shower

Charlotte’s shower was a busy affair. Lots of family where in town for the wedding. Here’s a few converging on the event. Not quite sure what I’m doing hanging around here. Plenty to catch up on for everyone that attended. Little Chris was the only boy to crash the party. Here are two generations of Hoyem sisters.

David and Charlotte's dinner party

We held a big dinner party the night before the wedding at our house in Montara. There were plenty of friends and family. It was a great informal way to catch up with many people we hadn’t seen in a long time. Both Charlotte and I have family mainly back in Michigan and New York.

David's bachelor party

Luckily there aren’t a lot of pictures from this party. We really didn’t get out of hand, but there certainly was no shortage of gag gifts. Mike brought the Hawaiian leis, but failed to bring the Hawaiian dancers.
