I can’t get enough shots of our little man.

The beach is only 2 blocks from the house, so it’s a common walk for us. Today we head out with Nick to enjoy a fabulous day in Half Moon Bay. A nice little nap is in order after our trip to the beach.

Our dog Hazel is getting used to the idea of a new “pet” in the family. Nick sure is a whole lot cuter and I love those adorable outfits.

My mom came to town for a few weeks to help out now that Charlotte and Nick are back home. It’s really been a tough time for Charlotte and having my mom around has been totally invaluable.

Nick was born at Mills Hospital in San Mateo at 5:02am. He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was 21 inches long. He was born with the same size gigantic head I was sporting. It proved quite an ordeal for Charlotte that resulted in many days at the hospital recovering, followed by many weeks of recovery at home.

Charlotte and I couldn’t make the wedding back east since we were in the hospital to have Nick induced. So while we have our little party in the hospital, George and Ellen tie the knot. The rest of Charlotte’s family made it no problem. Sure wish we could have been there too. !

A bunch of Charlotte’s friends held a baby shower for her at Valri’s house. Even Lynn made it up from San Diego.

Of course we spend most of the day hanging out at the dock. Charlotte and I visit grandma’s place in Calumet. Pinochle is serious business up north and we get plenty of games in almost every night. ...
