I really enjoy this photo, especially the gold caps. Fun stuff.

We’re heading home after visiting Nick for his birthday, so it seems like a perfect opportunity to visit an important landmark along the way. Mission San Miguel here we come. The old walls, doors, and walkways welcome us in. The old chapel and entry ways were particularly beautiful. The central courtyard was so peaceful and inviting. It really was a great idea to stop and enjoy this great place. ...

The family is heading down to San Luis Obispo to spend the weekend with Nick for his birthday. Nick was up for some kayaking over at Morro Bay, and everyone else is excited to enjoy the day on the water as well. Everybody into their kayaks! Plenty of cool birds are out today enjoying the sunshine. It’s a lot of work paddling all day, especially with strong currents in some directions. Gabe takes a break occasionally, while pelicans and sea lions are diving and jumping after bait fish. ...

This weekend is my big brother’s 19th birthday so I am going up for the whole weekend to Cal Poly to hang with him. Therefore I will not be able to post anything new I don’t think. Well enjoy the weekend people, poke around the old stuff, you might find a little surprise somewhere in it.
A blossom bloomed Opening slowly Shyly Showing it’s new found beauty Opening to the sun Reaching up high To the bright blue sky Not knowing That the sun Doesn’t always shine When the rain comes The blossom wilts Hiding its beautiful face Turning from the pain The heavy drops Weigh it down Pulling away It’s beauty Petal by petal Until nothing is left The blossom Lays broken Shredded on the ground In its place A bud pokes through A new chance A new face A new beauty As a blossom blooms

Something about this photo really strikes me as funny.

This thing is so cool and so creepy. Kind of like a violin baby. found it in Open Studios again. I really do like it though, maybe I will you musical instruments in an art project.
Come take my hand and lets fly away fly away from here lets find a world without the constant of noise and death we will stand together on the brink of insanity with out hands held tight and we will never let go bear with me the pain of the coming years when I grow distant pull me back down when I become darkened be my only light when everything is just too much be my simple love lets watch the world burn from atop our aeroplane held up by strings so thin it could cut be careful you say the world isn’t our toy to play oh how right you are we are the toys of a globe spun too fast where reality and insanity come frighteningly close lets fly fly away put your hands over my ears protect me from the onslaught of the world’s words be the barrier between the world and me save me whisk me away so we can forever fly away

I love this piece, it is called Snow White. I found it in the Tannery during Open Studios. I think I would like to do a piece like this for IB Art. Looks really fun just gluing big empty paint cans to a canvas. My kind of art.

I am not sure why or how, but I feel like this explains my life right now. Kind of sad.
