This photo I took in Salt Lake City is basically famous in my family. Well at least to my mom and me. I don’t really know why, but it is basically the photo that represents our road trips. We love it, so here it is.

Love truly is blind, this woman in Pikes Place Market was singing on a corner and was truly blind. There was something really sad about this, yet she seemed so happy. Maybe she just loved blindly enough that she didn’t need to see, she could just believe. Some times it is better to live that way. It is easier to believe blindly than have to stare the truth in the face everyday. I wonder which kind of person she is, a believer or a seeker. ...

While Matt and I enjoy attending the Global Sourcing Forum in NYC, Charlotte enjoys herself walking the city. It’s a lucky treat that the Veteran’s Day Parade is going on, so there are plenty of fun sights and people to take in. Charlotte really loves shopping in the Lower East Side. That girl of mine loves getting a good deal. Matt and I head downtown to meet up at Katz’s Deli. I’ve had a wicked hankering for pastrami on rye, a potato knish, and some cream soda. I realized after I ordered that I should have gotten an egg cream. Guess I’ll have to come back again soon. ...

I wish I could go on a Ferris wheel right now. Go on a slow ride up to the clouds take a handful and bring it back down to earth with me. Here is my cloud, want some? It tastes like cotton candy. Anyway.. sorry about that, this is a Ferris wheel somewhere off in South Dakota in an abandoned sideshow amusement park. I wish I had stopped to take a ride. I feel like on road trips you need to stop every time you have an inkling to do so because you never know if you will ever see anything like it again. I regret not stopping at some things and I will remember some for the rest of my life for the things I did stop at. ...

“What’s in a name? That which we call a rose By any other name would smell as sweet.” Ah Shakespeare, here is a beautiful rose picture I took. I love the little rain drop in the middle of the flower. it adds a little something to the photo.

Say hello to Mr. Buffalo from Yellowstone. They were everywhere.

Gabe and I are off to ride the hills around Scotts Valley. It’s nice to have another potential crazy road cyclist in the family. I figure eventually everyone will come around as well.

Creeper Photo of the day goes to the Smoker. She was on Pikes Place Market smoking in the street. Her glasses and face caught my attention. I wonder who she is talking to and why it is so important to go sit in the street to talk. She seemed upset, I wonder why.

I am a huge fan of the television show called Man v. Food on the travel channel. So naturally when in Seattle I checked out the places he went to on his show, one of them was a seafood eatery called the Crab Pot. It has something called a Sea Feast, and it truly is. They bring out a giant pot filled with crab, mussels, clams, sausage, potatoes, and shrimp, then dump it onto your table. There are no forks or knives just a mallet and a little picking fork. It really is a battle with your food. ...

This is my favorite creeper photo I have ever taken. It was in the airport on my way to Seattle. Her hat was what caught my attention. There is just something sad and mysterious about her that I love. It made me wonder why she was going to Seattle and who she was. She has the honor of being my first creeper photo.
