Lunch at Loch Lomond
March 7, 2004
March 7, 2004
Charlotte headed over to Loch
Lomond with Gordon, Valri, and the kids. I had my regular ride with
the UCSC cycling team, so Charlotte
spent those hours enjoying the beautiful day with family at the lake.
The newts are active this time of year, and there's nothing
quite like a cup o' newts with your hot dog or hamburger.
There are plenty of places for the kids to climb around
and enjoy. There's also no shortage of sticks for the boys to play war
and poke dead woodpeckers with.
Doug's stuffed raccoon brings a bit of culture to the
area. He gives last rites to the poor woodpecker and then moves on to dessert.
Meanwhile, Monica has a peaceful musical moment to herself
at the edge of the lake.
