Amgen Tour of California - Paso Robles

Yesterday's stage of the Tour of
California was a blast, so Charlotte and I are back on the road to watch the riders
leave Seaside for the long ride out to Paso Robles today. Bob Roll is here too along
with plenty of bikes.
Gabe is in school, so unfortunately he's not able to collect more
autographs for his hat. Plenty of great riders getting ready to roll from Radio Shack,
Garmin, Rabobank, and BMC. The start is so much quieter than in Livermore, almost a bit
like rolling out on a small training ride. Livermore sure did a great job yesterday.
And there they go!
Charlotte and I head over to Greenfield to wait for the peloton
to roll through downtown. There's a great tailwind as usual for Metz Road as the breakway
crosses the tracks.
It was such a rush watching the huge pack go past right underneath
me while I stood on the crossing guard.
The Twisselmans enjoyed the VIP tent across the way, so we're
headed down a few yards to catch the incoming sprint.
The pack looked really tired, and Peter Sagan didn't disappoint
with an awesome win at the line.
