We're headed south on a big loop in search of great cycling. First stop is the amazing city of Solvang. Our first day will be a nice warmup doing the Solvang Century 100K route.

Meanwhile Charlotte and Monica get to enjoy the ostriches just outside of town.

And then it's over to the Old Mission Santa Ines for some artsy photography care of Monica.

Nice job on the closeup manger scene. It's like I'm really there!

The rest of the mission grounds provide more photographic opportunities.

Then it's time for such lunch in downtown Solvang.

The next day we're over to Los Olivos where Gabe and I head up over the classic Mt Figueroa.

And the girls enjoy some hiking on their own.

We head south to Santa Barbara where we drop off the girls at the train station to head back home. Then Gabe and I continue south to Malibu where we fall in love with Latigo and Malibu Canyon. Finally we head to Fresno to hook up with Gabe's friend Ryan Brooks for a nice recovery ride and then a great loop of Pine Flat the next day.
