- Henry Trenchard, a blacksmith, according to the 1850 Westchester County Federal Census, was born 1785 Nova Scotia. He filed a complaint that on June 10, 1820 a horse wandered onto his property. In 1830 Henry Trenchard was a juror; 1831, member of the special committee to continue a public road; 1825 an overseer of highways; 1836, a juror; 1844 in school district #4, one child between 6 and 16 attending school. Again on August 2, 1836, Henry Trenchard filed a complaint that a horse wandered onto his enclosure.
