- Baptized March 9, 1653, as Johannes, New Amsterdam Reformed Dutch Church.
"In the name of God, Amen, upon the day and year underwritten, appeared before me, "Adrian" Vermenile clerk of the Town of New Harlem, admitted by ye Honorable Mayor's Court of New York and in the presence of the underwritten witnesses, John De Lameter, being sick in bed, he makes his wife Ruth Waldron master, and ruler of all his goods during her life, but she shall not nortgage or bring any incomerances upon it. The eldest son is to have a cow, one horse and five pounds, and then to have his share equally with the other children."
